2623079 - Wrong characters replicating from DB2 to HANA - SRS

Symptom

  • Replication from Replication Agent DB2 z/OS (RADB2) to HANA using SAP Replication Server (SRS)
  • Some unicode characters are improperly displayed in HANA
  • For example:

        "ä" in DB2 displays as "{" in Hana 
        "Häna" becomes "H{na"
