Symptom
This article will provide information on the control we have over the following RCM pending items that may be displayed under a user To-Do list:
- Pending Job Requisition Approval
- Pending Offer Approval
- Pending Interview Assessments
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Resolution
It is not possible to remove these pending items from a user To-Do list, or to hide them through an Admin Center> Manage Home Page setting. The only way to have these items removed from the pending list is actually working on what is pending.
NOTES:
- The Provide Interview Feedback To-Do tile will only be removed once the user has given an overall rating (Recommended/Not Recommended) for the candidate in Interview Central, then click I'm Done (tapped on Submit via the mobile application). Once an overall rating has been given the interview feedback to-do tile will be removed from the home page.
- If the Job Application in question is disqualified/withdrawn and/or the Job Requisition is closed the Provide Interview Feedback To-Do item will also be removed.
- Once the Interview has been scheduled, the Pending Interview Feedback to-do tile will appear immediately for the relevant Interviewers, on their Homepage.
There are also a few known behaviors where the To-Do tile may not work as expected with pending offer approvals. We have the following articles created to discuss this matter.
- Missing Offer Approval tasks under the new Recruiting Approvals To-Do tile: 2437582
- Rejected job offers are displayed in the To-do list: 2599019
- Overdue offer approvals showing in to-do list: 2302933
If To-Do items are still there after following the steps in the KBAs above, you can run a Provisioning Job to sync items on the Home Page. Make sure to verify and apply the solutions in the KBAs (if needed); otherwise, the Provisioning Job won't clear the To-Do item if it's not actually invalid.
(These actions can be performed by an implementation partner, however, if you are not currently working with one, you can create a Product Support ticket (LOD-SF-RCM)).
- Go to Provisioning for the affected instance.
- Go to Scheduled Jobs
- Create a new Job of type "Migrate To-Do Entries to Card Service"
- Choose any admin user as Job Owner.
- Select Action as "Remove from Card Service".
- Select processing source as "Provisioning Job".
- Select the To-Do Category matching the To-Do type that has the issue on the home page:
- For pending Offers select > Offer Approval
- For pending Job Requisitions > Recruit New Talent
- For pending Interviews > Interview Assessment
- Run the job.
- Go to Monitor Jobs
- Check the job run status and wait for it to Complete.
Important: For this job, the initial Completed status in Provisioning will only indicate the event initiated in the back end and does not denote the whole data processing is completed. For the true completion status, check the Job Run Details and look for a blank row to appear at the end with 'Completed' status after the row that says "Job successfully completed". This job is considered truly completed when this last blank row is visible.
- Create another Job of same type "Migrate To-Do Entries to Card Service".
- Choose any admin user as Job Owner
- Select Action as "Migrate to Card Service".
You can to repeat the steps above for each To-Do Category affected.
