2624106 - Mandatory Custom Fields In Time Sheet

Symptom

There is a requirement to set custom fields in Time Sheet as mandatory.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet
  • SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

Resolution

A custom field can be set as mandatory (required = Yes) in Allowance, Employee Time Sheet Entry, Time Recording, and Allowance Recording objects and with following primitive data types only:

  • String
  • Number
  • Decimal
  • Time
  • DataTime
  • Date
  • Boolean

A default value must be provided as well.
