2624673 - Position and Incumbent tables not showing the expected data - Advanced Reporting

• Position and Incumbent tables are not showing the expected records
• Discrepancy between Position data in EC and Advanced Reporting

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

• Scenario 1: The mdfSystemRecordStatus is not filtered and is showing historical values
• Scenario 2: The selected Incumbent table is not the right one

Scenario 1: Check if the mdfSystemRecordStatus is set to "N" - Refer KBA 2261877 - Duplicate Records and Canceled Position shown in Position table - Advanced Reporting

Scenario 2: In Advanced Reporting there are two Incumbent tables:

• Incumbent: This is used for a Succession Management (SCM) purpose and only supports one incumbent per position
• Incumbent(s): This is used to list all the incumbents for the position and should be used in an Employee Central (EC) report
  

The solution in this case is to use the Incumbent(s) table.
