2625092 - Opportunity Approval Notification Is Not Triggered

You have configured a multi-step approval process with different conditions and enabled the All Approvals Required option in the approval process. However, the expected approval notification is not triggered.

SAP Cloud for Customer core applications

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Navigate to the Opportunities view.
3. Create an opportunity that meets the conditions defined for the first step of the approval process.
4. Submit the opportunity for approval.

Result: The opportunity is submitted for approval.

1. The approvers for Step 1 approve the opportunity through the notification.

Result: The opportunity status is set to Approved, and Step 2 of the approval process is not triggered.

When an opportunity that meets the conditions for the first step of the approval process is approved, the status of Step 2 is set to Approval Not Necessary.

1. This is the expected system behavior.
2. Re-approval is currently not supported for Opportunities. Therefore, once the opportunity reaches the Approved status, the approval process is considered completed, and no further approval steps are triggered.
