Symptom

  • SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) Replication Agent keeps shutting down
  • ASE log reports:
    • RepAgent(4): Error in passthru packet: 'get truncation "<PDS>"."<PDB>"'.
    • RepAgent(4): Received the following communications error message: Msg 05030507: ct_sendpassthru(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Lib protocol driver call to write data failed.
