2625344 - Workflow "Update" option not available on few objects - Employee Central

No "Update" option available for the user or initiator, even when can see the "Withdraw" and "Resubmit" options on the below objects.

MDF elements:

• Benefits
• Income Tax Declaration
• Intelligence Services Workflow
• MDF object with data operation Delete
• MDF object with Pending data configuration as False

When approver "sent back" the workflow, the user/initiator get to see only Withdraw and Resubmit option and no "Update".
option available.

It is because for fewer objects the "on the fly" changes are being supported so for such objects "Withdraw" and "Resubmit" options are alone available.

It is expected system behavior, therefore to update the workflow, the user would require to Withdraw the workflow and then do the edit, to be able to amend changes to the record then resubmit it.
