2625628 - Can we turn off Workflow Notifications?

Symptom

Is it possible to disable Email notifications for an approver listed in a workflow?
Can I set one approver to receive an email notfication and another approver to not receive an email notification for a workflow indivually?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

Make a change in the system that triggers a workflow that has 1 or more step approvers
The Workflow notification email is sent out and the ToDo list is populated with a notification

Resolution

If a user or group of users is listed as a workflow approver they will receive an Email notification as well as a ToDo notification
For example, when a workflow step is approved, you want the initiator and contributor to be notified, but you don’t think it’s necessary to notify the current approver of this step. You can define the configuration for Workflow approved Action as follows:

Workflow Action	Email Recipient	Email Notification
Workflow approved	Initiator	ON
	Current Approver	OFF
	Contributor	ON
