This KBA describes how Enabling SFAPI Web Services can be done.

Enabling the SFAPI Web Services can be done in Provisioning (backend). Once this is enabled, SAP Successfactors Employee Central and SAP ERP can communicate through technical API user.

Steps to enable SFAPI

• Login to Provisioning
• Click on Company Settings
• Search for Web Services
• Enable the option "SFAPI (Warning: SFAPI is legacy API technology. Please use OData API instead. Only use SFAPI if you are using the Employee Central Compound Employee API.)"
• Click the Save button
