2626358 - Universe contains unsupported contexts error in SAP Analytics Cloud connecting live to SAP BI Platform

This KBA relates to the legacy version LUC 2.x only. It is heavily recommended to upgrade to LUC 3.x for Full Support and for a much simpler deployment process.

You are trying to create a model using SAP BI Platform Live Connection. After selecting one specific universe, you receive the error: Universe contains unsupported contexts.

This information is recorded in the file TraceLog_trace.glf file where you deployed the SAP BOE Live Data Connect.

• SAP Analytics Cloud
• SAP BOE Live Data Connect version 2.x

After configuring correctly your Live Data Connection to SAP Business Intelligence Platform you can't create models using certain Universes.

The universe is using some features not yet supported by this connector.

You can make a copy of the current UNX universe and remove the contexts.
