Symptom
A report misses data when compared to the Object Work List in the work center view.
For example, the standard report Customer Project Overview (PROCPIU02_Q0001) does not show all the Projects displayed in Project Management work center - Projects view when both the report and the view are filtered by: In Planning, Started or Released.
Environment
SAP Business ByDesign, all versions.
Reproducing the Issue
-
Go to Business Analytics work center.
- Go to Design Reports view.
-
Show All Reports.
-
Find the report PROCPIU02_Q0001.
-
Open the report by clicking on its name.
-
Filter by Project Status 1, 2, 3.
-
Apply.
The list of projects displayed is different from the one obtained in the Project Management work center - Projects view when filtering by In Planning, Started, Released.
Cause
The report uses Key Figures for which the Zero Suppression is activated in the Key Figure Settings. Hence, the documents with zero value in the Key Figures are not displayed because of this setting.
In the Report PROCPIU02_Q0001, the projects that are not displayed have zero value for the Key Figures Net Value - Ordered and Net Value - Invoiced.
Resolution
You can check the Zero Suppression settings for Key Figures in the report with these steps (in HTML5):
-
Open the report.
- Go to View.
- Click More [...] next to Key Figure and select Key Figure Settings.
- Go to the General tab.
In the section Zero Suppression, Apply Suppression to Rows is set by default as Suppress When All Values Equal Zero.
You can change this setting to: `Do Not Suppress` to see all the documents with zero value for the Key Figures.
