2627428 - Unable to Edit a Position With a Start Date That is Before a Users Start Date

• HR User hired to a position on 01/01/2018 and has a Matrix Relationship to a position that was created prior to this date (31/12/2017 or before).
• HR User is unable to edit the details of this position.

Employee Central - Position Management

1. Navigate to Manage Data
2. Select ‘Position’ from the first dropdown
3. Select the position in question from the next dropdown
4. Unable to edit the position.

It is expected behaviour that the HR Manager can only edit records for which they have a Matrix Relationship and were created after their hire date.

The best way to ensure this other than manually creating a record, is to avail of the update of the To Be Hired field.

Once an employee is assigned to a position it will update the to be hired status of the position on their hire date.
