2628242 - Error "Publishing Selected Template Variant Failed" While Publishing Form Template.

When you try to publish any template, you get an error message "Publishing Selected Template Variant Failed"

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Administrator work center.
2. Go to the Business Flexibility view.
3. Go to the Form Template Maintenance sub view.
4. Select the required form for e.g. Sales Quote.
5. Maintain the required changes.
6. Publish the form.
7. Error message "Publishing Selected Template Variant Failed" appears.

The changes maintained in the form is not accepted by the system.

1. Go to Administrator work center.
2. Go to the Business Flexibility view.
3. Go to the Form Template Maintenance sub view.
4. Select the required form for e.g. Sales Quote.
5. Select the Sales Quote form row with status “Not Published” .
6. Select the option “Publish”, system will prompt you by asking: By publishing the form template you will make it available to all users. Do you want to continue?.
7. Select OK.
8. Status of the form changes to Published.
9. Select the row again and select Easy Form Editor from the Open tab.
10. Made the necessary changes you need.
11. Slect Publish and Close.
12. System ask: By publishing the form template you will make it available to all users. This form template contains unsaved changes. Do you want to save the changes and publish the form template?.
13.  Select OK.
14. Then refresh the screen by selecting the refresh icon (before the Advanced option).
15. Select the same row and press button “Open Easy Form Editor”, just to confirm if the changes made before were maintained.

The error message will be removed.
