Symptom

  • The following error appears when opening any type of report in BI Launchpad (BILP):
    All the servers with CMS <CMS>:6400, cluster @<CLUSTER>:6400, kind fileserver which host service null, are down or disabled

  • In Central Management Console (CMC) -> Servers, it can be seen that every time a report is opened, the Input File Repository Server (IFRS), restarts. After 5 times, it will go in to 'Failed' state.
