Symptom
After posting a job in RCM (Recruiting Management) for a specific Brand the job doesn't appear on the RMK (Recruiting Marketing) Career Site.
Brands are enabled in RMK during the implementation process. For sites with multiple brands configured, you can set up different colors, images, and fonts for each brand in the Global Styles menu of Career Site Builder (CSB). The best practice to integrate RCM and RMK (Recruiting Marketing) is to use a picklist field in RCM for Brands.
This article presents important recommendations about Brand integration between RCM and RMK.
Environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing
- SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Map the picklist created to select Brands to the Brand field in RMK
- Create a Job Requisition in RCM
- Select the Brand
- Post the job externally to RMK
- The job is not searchable for this specific Brand in RMK
Cause
Brand name is mismatched between RCM and RMK.
Resolution
The recommended characters to use in a Brand field are : letters in lower case (a-z) , letters in uppercase (A-Z), numbers (0-9) hyphen (-) and underscore (_)
WARNING:
Most special characters will not work
Spaces are not supported
Also note that as a best practice, using ALL CAPS should be avoided as consecutive capital letters could interfere with category and job delivery rules by triggering unwanted operators such as "AND" "OR" "NOT".
Note : If you are using a picklist to select a Brand in a job requisition, make sure the selected label matches the URL Brand Identifier from the Brand created in RMK.
