2629383 - "Please Enter a Reference Product ID" Error During Migration of Installation Points

Symptom

When executing the migration of Installation Points, the migration tool raises the following error in the simulation step:

Please enter a reference product ID

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer - all versions

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Enter Business Configuration work center.
  2. In the Overview view, search for activity Migration of Installation Points.
  3. Click on Migrate Installation Points Using the Migration Tool.
  4. Upload the migration template with the installation points.
  5. Click on Execute Migration -> Step by Step.
  6. In the step 3, the error is raised.

Cause

When creating a registered product with the migration of installation points, the Registered Product ID needs to be provided.

Resolution

In the migration template, populate the field Registered Product ID, which can be found in the General sheet.
