Symptom

  • MainframeConnect(MFC) while running in a CICS region suddenly stopped working and threw the following error:

    CICS message user LOG (CSML) shows:
    SYBASE LISTENER SY03 SYBTP09 - SOCKET CALL ERROR.
    SYBASE LISTENER SY03 CALL = RECV ERRNO = 54
    SYBASE LISTENER SY03 SYBTP15 - CANNOT READ LOGON PACKET (PEEK).
    SYBASE LISTENER SY03 SYBTP09 - SOCKET CALL ERROR.
