2629751 - Error: "Form template variant for language A, USA and country B cannot be found" While Generating Sales Quote Output Preview

Symptom

You observe the error "Form template variant for language ABC and country DEF cannot be found" while generating output preview for a Sales Quote (where ABC refers to the relevant language and DEF the respective country).

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales workcentre
  2. Open any Sales Quote 
  3. Submit the quote
  4. Observe error "Form template variant Sales Quote for language ABC and country DEF cannot be found"

Cause

For determining the form template, we need to maintain DEF variant with language ABC.

Resolution

You need to maintain the variant template in order to proceed further.

  1. Go to the Administrator workcentre 
  2. Open the Form Template Maintenance subview.
  3. Select the Form Template: Sales Quote.
  4. Click on Copy -> New Variant. 
  5. Add country as DEF and language as ABC. 
  6. Save and Publish the form template.
