2629990 - Data load fails with job terminated in source system due to data misaligned

Symptom

A data load request (REQU_*) fails with status "Errors occurred in the source system" and error message "Job terminated in source system --> Request set to red" (Message no. RSM078).

The corresponding background job in the source system (BIREQU_*) indicates that an internal session terminated with a runtime error BCD_BADDATA or CONVT_NO_NUMBER.
