2630683 - How to assign Diagnostics Agent for the system in HEC environment

This KBA is for the SAP Solution Manager and the Managed Systems which are managed by SAP HEC team.

For the systems that are managed by SAP HEC, there are 2 kinds of host name exist.

1.  Host name starting with hec* which is used by SAP HEC team.
2.  Host name named vh<customer name><system ID><instance type>. This one will be used by the user.

Under HEC environment, Diagnostics Agent used by the customer is called DAC Agent which is not installed using virtual host name (vh<customer name><system ID><instance type>).

All Diagnostics Agents are installed using LVM (Landscape Virtualization Management) tool using the logical hostname (hec*).
Hostname is not selectable in this tool. Due to this, the hostname of the agent may be different with the server hostname.
