Cannot Export Corporate Data Model

Environment

Employee Central - Provisioning

Employee Central - Hris sync

Reproducing the Issue

  • Login to provisioning and access the Company ID for the data model you are attempting to Export
  • Go to Export Data Model
  • Attempt to import the Corporate Data Model

Cause

    • Login to provisioning and access the Company ID for the data model you are attempting to Export
    • Click  Company Settings
    • Scroll down to: Employee Central Foundation Objects

          Result: in Company Setting the Foundation Objects are disabled. They are required to use Export CDM as in CDM the foundation objects are defined.

          Resolution

          • Login to provisioning and access the Company ID for the data model you are attempting to Export
          • Click  Company Settings
          • Scroll down to: Employee Central Foundation Objects
          • Enable:Employee Central Foundation Objects

          In Company Setting the Foundation Objects are disabled. They are required to use Export CDM as in CDM the foundation objects are defined.
