2631291 - Key User Cannot View a Dashboard in RUI

You are a key user with Administrator business role. When you try to access a dashboard in RUI the error message 'Command Parameter invalid: You are not authorized to execute the report' is shown.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Login to RUI.
2. Go to the Analysis work center.
3. Go to the Dashboard view.
4. Select a Dashboard.

Error message 'Command Parameter invalid: You are not authorized to execute report error' is displayed. The same Dashboard is available to view in Html5 UI.

Html5 UI has Design Dashboard view in Analysis Work center which is used by key users to create dashboards. Hence the key users are able to see all the dashboard in Html5. RUI does not have Design Dashboard view. Therefore, the key users are able to view only those dashboards in RUI which are assigned to them. If the key user is not assigned to the source report of the Dashboard, he will not be able to view the Dashboard.

You need to assign the source report of the dashboard to the key user.
