2631761 - Error Message: To-stock Process Type Not Possible; Inventory Data in Product Missing

You are trying to release purchase order ABC but the Order button greyed out, and system raising error message:

Item X: To-stock process type not possible; inventory data in product missing

SAP Business ByDesign All Versions

1. Go to Purhase Request And Orders work center, Purchase Orders view. 
2. Find purchase order ABC, open it.
3. Click Check button, system raising error message:
   Item X: To-stock process type not possible; inventory data in product missing

The ship to location for item X, saying site DEF (DEF stands for site ID) is not maintained in the Logistics tab of the corresponding product master data.

Please open the product master data of item X, add a row in the Logistics tab of for the site Y and activate it.

Once this is done and saved, you can go back and check the Purchase order. You will no longer face the error and will be able to order it.
