Symptom

  • 'setuphadr' failed to setup Replication Server in companion host
  • The following error message are logged and setuphadr fails

    Running task: initialize ERSSD.
    INTERNAL ERROR: The environment variable 'SALANG' is not defined.
    INTERNAL ERROR: The environment variable 'SACHARSET' is not defined.
    Check the log (rs_initLog.001) for more information.
