2632381 - Can an employee have two termination event?

Symptom

If an employee has two Termination events on EC, then we are facing a replication error as "Succession of the same action type Termination is not supported" for that particular employee.

As per our process, when an employee refuses a recall. The Payroll team enters a second Termination record for that employee. This is causing error during replication of employee.

Error codes:

EA_HR -> HRSFEC_SERVICES112

PA_SE_IN -> PAOCF_EC_SERVICES112

Environment

SuccessFactors

Employee Central 2.0

Reproducing the Issue

Step 1: Retire an employee on EC by selecting event as ‘Termination’ and event reason as ‘Retirement’

Step 2: Terminate the same employee by selecting event as ‘Termination’ and event reason as ‘Involuntary Termination’.

Step 3: Go to Admin center and select ‘Data replication monitor’

Step 4: select tab ‘Status per employee” and force replicate the employee

Step 5: Check the replication log using SLG1 transaction code.

Cause

In employee central you should not use multiple new hire / termination reason / rehire reason consecutively.

The life cycle of employee's job history should be new hire->other events->termination->rehire->other events->termination.
