2632965 - Receiving Error when Requesting a Leave of Absence - XXXX is an invalid option ID for the field null

When requesting a Leave of Absence one of the following error message is displayed:

• XXXX is an invalid option ID for the field null
• XXXX is an invalid external code for the field null

• Employee Central - Time Off
• Employee Central - Leave of Absence

1. Request a new Leave of Absence time type
2. Receive an error message:

• XXXX is an invalid option ID for the field null

• XXXX is an invalid external code for the field null

This is caused by a picklist data issue on the users Job Information.
The user has an obsoleted picklist value maintained on their current and/or past Job History records.

1. Download the Picklist file from Picklist Management
2. Filter on the optionID field for the code displayed in the error. For example 3434 from the above example.
3. This will show you the impacted obsoleted value and the corresponding picklist.
4. Navigate to the user Job History.
5. Search for the impacted value.
6  Remove this value or select another non-obsoleted value.
7. Save
