2632987 - Employee referral buttons are missing/not available - Recuiting Management

Employee referral feature has been enabled in customer's instance. However, users are still unable to use the feature as the following buttons are missing:

• Refer Friend to Job
• Add a Referral now!

• Refer Friend to Job button
  1. Go to Careers → Search Jobs
  2. Choose any posted job → Select Action
  3. The "Refer Friend to Job" option is missing

• Add a Referral now! button
  1. Go to Careers → Referral Tracking
  2. The "Add a Referral now!" button is missing

Since the implementation of b1802, Refer Friend to Job option from job search and Add a Referral now! button in referral tracking are now based on RBP permission.

These permissions have not been configured in customer's instance, causing the buttons to be unavailable on user's end.

NOTE: To allow limited or specific user roles to refer friends to job, enable the following setting:

1. Admin Center → Set Up Employee Referral Program
2. Enable Check for employee referral permissions for adding candidate (pool and job specific)
3. Save changes

When this setting is enabled, the two(2) RBP permissions mentioned below should be granted as well.

Without the above setting enabled and without the two(2) RBP permissions granted, then anyone can have the access to refer friends to jobs.

1. Go to Admin Center → Manage Permission Roles
2. Select a permission role → Take Action → Edit
3. Click the Permission... button → User Permissions → Recruiting Permissions
4. Enable the following permissions for the permission role:
   • Employee referral - pool
   • Employee referral - job specific
