2633242 - Academic Title Field Cannot be Found in the Header of Contact

You find that the Academic Titile can only be found in the OWL(object work list) of contacts. However, if you open a contact, the Academic Title field cannot be found in the header of the contact.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Cusotmers work center.
2. Go to Contacts work center view.
3. Under the OWL, you can find there's a field called Academic Title.
4. Open a contact, then in the header TI, you cannnot find the Academic Title field, even if you use Personalize or Edit Master Layout.

The Academic Title field can be found when you edit the Contact's name.
It is because the academic title is part of the Name field.

This is the standard design of the system.

5. In the Contact object (header), click edit to edit the name. The Academic Title field will appear next to the Contact Name. When you select an Academic Title for a contact and save, it will be shown together with the name in the Name field, e.g. Dr. ABC (ABC represents the Name of the Contact).
