2633311 - Not Supported Calendar Message ics attachment text

When receiving an LMS notification with an ics attachment, it displays Not Supported Calendar Message.ics

1. Enable vCalendar attachments utilizing notifications within LMS
2. Note that some mail platforms or applications like Outlook will show the mentioned displayed text on the attachment.

ics is an older standard calendar attachment which is still utilized by LMS to support multiple mail platforms; however newer calendar invites have been developed to meet these newer standards.

Continue using the ics as business needs require understanding the attachment message is just a title or desctiption display text that does not affect the attachment functionality else use the new calendar invite feature, see KBA 2375066 - Class Registration Notification with outlook calendar invite OR .ics as attachment.
