2633398 - Broadcast failure

You have created the Broadcast XYZ in your system and, after running it, you notice that even though the Broadcast is configured correctly as many others, it has failed in sending the Report for example to the users assigned to this Broadcast.

It only shows that the Broadcast Failed, not showing an appropriate error message or the root cause for the failure.

This Broadcast behavior might be related to the User who created the Broadcast initially, as it might fail since the user who created it doesn't have access to the workcenter view that the report is assigned to.

In order to correct the behavior and prevent that the Broadcast fail again, you may check into the Access Rights of the user ABC who created Broadcast XYZ and see if he has access to the workcenter view that the report (Broadcasted) is assigned to.

In order to check which workcenter view the report is assigned to, you may follow the steps below:

1. Access your system.
2. Go to Business Analytics workcenter.
3. Go to Design Reports view.
4. Search for the Report ZYX.
5. Select the Report and click on Assign button.
6. Check the workcenter views which the user ABC is assigned to.

In case you check into the Access Rights of user ABC and it doesn't have access to the workcenter views the Report ZYX is assigned to, the Broadcast XYZ won't work as expected.

Make sure to maintain these access rights consistent when creating Broadcasts in your system to avoid possible failures.
