2633685 - Email Notification Name Format - EC

What are the name formats used for email notification tags for names such as SUBJECT_USER, RECIPIENT_NAME, CURRENT_OWNER, RECENTLY_APPROVED_BY?

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Workflow

• For locales, zh_CN, zh_TW, ja_JP , Name format is LAST NAME+FIRST NAME. (Please note that there will not be space in between last name and first name as per proper usage of 'Pinyin')
• For all other locales, the Name format is FIRST NAME + MIDDLE NAME + LAST NAME.
• Also note that, The tag [[SUBJECT_USER]], [[CURRENT_OWNER]] and [[RECENTLY_APPROVED_BY]] are populated by using the format pattern set for sender's locale.[[RECIPIENT_NAME]], it is using name format pattern set for recipient's local.

NOTE:

• Name format is currently not supported in WFAutoApproveJob, WFAutoReminderJob, WFAutoDelegateJob, MassApproveJob i.e even when the locale of job owner is zh_CN, zh_TW, ja_JP the name format in email notification is still FIRST NAME + LAST NAME.
