2633777 - "The data source query has no measures." error message appears in SAP Analytics Cloud

When trying to create a model based on a query which does not have measures the following error message appears in SAP Analytics Cloud: 
"The data source query has no measures."

• SAP Analytics Cloud 
• Live Data Connection

1. Logon to SAC. 
2. Create a Live Data Connection (e.g: S4/HANA).
3. Create a model based on a query which does not contain measure.
4. Notice the error message.

This is a by design behavior.

The query must contain a measure in order to be able to create a model in SAC.
