2633913 - How to Make Excel Workbooks Available in the System


You have created an Excel workbook and you would like to know how to make it available to other users.

  • SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer


To make workbooks available to other users, you would need to save them as a design workbook, and then save them back to the system. Afterwards, they can be assigned to work centers which makes them accessible for others. The steps to do so are:

  1. Open your report in Excel.
  2. Make sure that the workbook is a Design Workbook.
  3. In the SAP BUSINESS BYDESIGN / SAP CLOUD FOR CUSTOMER tab, click on Save All > Save Workbook As New.
  4. Enter a name and save.

This workbook will now be shown in the Business Analytics work center. If you assign it, it will be accessible to other users.

If you save a Personal Workbook in this way, it will be accessible in the reports list on your home page.
