2633916 - Not Possible to Create a Sales Order inside a Sales Quote which is replicated in ERP

Symptom

You realize that it is not possible to add a Sales order inside a Sales quote once the Sales quote is replicated.

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Sales work centre.
  2. Go to the Sales Quotes view.
  3. Search and open sales quote ABC (ABC represents the name of the sales quote that you replicated).
  4. Go to the Sales Documents facet.

Result: The option New is grayed out in the sales orders section.

Cause

As the sales quote was already created and replicated to ERP, if you create a sales order now in C4C and replicate it to ERP, this sales order will be separated from the sales quote. If this option was allowed, there would not be any replication between ERP sales quote and the replicated sales order from C4C in ERP.

Resolution

The follow-up sales order must be created in ECC.
