2634490 - SPAM/SAINT hangs during phase DDIC_ACTIVATION

While running an import with SPAM/SAINT, it hangs during DDIC_ACTIVATION.

You may see the below warnings, without any errors in SLOG under DIR_TRANS/log directory:

WARNING: Background job RDDIMPDP could not be started or terminated abnormally.
Please check that the R/3 system is running.
Please check the system. Use transactions SM21, SM37, SM50.

ST22 does not display any short dump.
