2634599 - When filtering a hierarchy, it is not possible to search on attributes

Symptom

When using the Filter by Member functionality in a hierarchy, it is not possible to search on attributes.

Cause

This is not a bug but a limitation.

Resolution

Filter on attributes is not implemented for hierarchies. The filter on attributes is only available in case of flat presentation or non-hierarchy dimensions.
