Symptom
Partition Elimination is a technique in which SAP IQ determines that certain partitions of a hash or hash-range partitioned table are not required to complete a query, so those partitions are removed from consideration in the Query Plan.
If you have partitioned tables, this is a performance gain that you will see if certain criteria are met. But how do you know if Partition Elimination is occurring?
