2636127 - Changing an Infoobject shows the message "Read-only version. Cannot be changed."

Symptom

After the implementation of the note "2395876 - Self URI InfoObject without object version" or the equivalent Support Package or higher:

  • SAP BW 7.50 SP 07 (SAPK-75007INSAPBW)
  • SAP BW 7.51 SP 02 (SAPK-75102INSAPBW)
  • SAP BW/4HANA SP 03 (SAPK-10003INDW4CORE)

changes cannot be made to Infoobjects, as the BW Modeling Tool client displays the message:

"Read-only version. Cannot be changed."
