2636584 - Table fragmentation - SAP IQ 16

Symptom

  • You have a table T1 already populated. 
  • You create a table T2 with the same structure as T1.
  • You run: INSERT INTO T2 SELECT * FROM T1. Both tables will then have the same data and row count.
  • If you compare the table sizes of T1 and T2, the table T2 could be much smaller than T1.
