2637390 - You Are Not Allowed to Save Sales Quote if the Account is Order Blocked

When creating a sales quote, system does not allow to save the document due to the error that Account has order block.

1. Go to the New Business work center.
2. Click New Sales Quote from Common Tasks view.
3. In the New Sales Quote screen, enter the account ABC. (ABC repsents the ID of account)
4. System then shows the error message: Account has order block.
5. Double click the account name link to open the account master data.
6. Go to Sales Data tab, the Order Block is set.

You expect the order block only blocks the sales order document instead of sales quote.

The order block you set in the account master data applies to Sales Quote and Sales Order. However, you can create leads and opportunities for the account with order block.

This is the designed system behavior.

You need to remove the order block from account master data in order to create quote and order for this account.
