2637888 - Receiving Position Filled Message When Forwarding Candidate in Late Stage Application

When forwarding a candidate in late stage application to a requisition that is not posted or the job posting has expired, why does the candidate receive the following error message?

"Sorry, this position has been filled."

1. Forward a candidate to a requisition that is not posted or has expired.
2. The candidate receives an email, clicks on the link to apply for the position, and receives the following message:

        "Sorry, this position has been filled."

It is mandatory for a job to be posted in order for an internal or external candidate to apply to a job if they have been forwarded, whether or not late stage application is enabled.

• Late stage application just allows the user to move the candidate to a later status in the pipeline; however the candidate will have to apply to the job as any other candidate.
• Therefore, this is an expected behavior for the candidate to get the error message when trying to apply for a job which is not posted or expired, whether or not late stage application is enabled.
