2637933 - "Check the default party role Ship-To. Alternative determination results" Severity Message Does Not Trigger in Sales Quote

You are creating a sales quote with an account that has multiple relationships of type Has Ship-To Party or Is Ship-To Party (visible in the Relationship view of the account). You expected to see the warning message "Check the default party role Ship-To. Alternative determination results".

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Open the Sales Quote view.
3. Click in the New button.
4. Select account ABC (where ABC stands as the ID of an account with multiple relationships of type Ship-To Party or Is Ship-To Party).
5. Fill in other mandatory fields.
6. Click in Save or Save and Open.

You expected to see the warning message "Check the default party role Ship-To. Alternative determination results".

1) You have suppressed the severity warning message of ID 011 "AP_RC_PARTY_PROC_LIB - Check the default party role &1. Alternative determination results: &2" in the Message Severity Configuration hyperlink of the Sales Quote fine-tuning activity in the Business Configuration;

OR

2) The Business partner relationship of Account determination step of the Ship-To party role in the involved parties of sales quotes is not active in the business configuration.

 

For cause number 1:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Search for the Sales Quotes Fine-tuning activity (you can use the search field in the right).
3. Open the Sales Quotes Fine-tuning activity.
4. Open the Message Severity Configuration hyperlink.
5. Uncheck the Suppress Message checkbox for the Message ID 011 "AP_RC_PARTY_PROC_LIB - Check the default party role &1. Alternative determination results: &2".
6. Click in the Save and Close button.

For cause number 2:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Search for the Sales Quotes Fine-tuning activity (you can use the search field in the right).
3. Open the Sales Quotes Fine-tuning activity.
4. Open the Maintain Involved Parties hyperlink.
5. Select the Ship-To line.
6. Click in the Maintain Determinations button.
7. Check the Active checkbox of the Step 10 "Business partner relationship of Account".
