2638192 - 'Sent Back By' User Showing Incorrect Name in Workflow Details Activity Pane

The incorrect name is appearing on the workflow details activity for the user who has sent the workflow back. The workflow was sent back by the “Second Approver” at the same time “First approver” has put some comment on the request. Both users have taken the action at the same time but it is showing that it has been sent back by the first approver rather than the second approver.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Workflows

1. Trigger a workflow with more than two steps

2. Open a different browser/machine and approve the request as the first step approver

3. At the same time open a different browsing session / use a different machine at the same time to proxy as the next step approver

4. First step approver should open the request in the View Pending Request, and write a comment without posting it

5. Then, the next step approver, sends the request back, at the exact same time as the first step approver posts the comment

6. The incorrect name is appearing on the workflow details activity for the user who has sent the workflow back

This is a known issue that is being worked on by SuccessFactors Engineering with a fix scheduled for b1805.
