2638284 - DSI thread ERROR #29023 function for the object does not exist - SRS

Symptom

  • Sybase Replication Server (RS) using Multi-Site Availability (MSA)
  • Multiple replication definitions are defined for the same table
  • The DSI thread shuts down with error 29023 when table contains text or image columns:

        E. 2008/07/18 10:40:56. ERROR #29023 DSI EXEC(103(1) ADB.rdb) - /fstrmap.c(756)
            The function 'rs_textptr_init' for the object 'rs_in0x0100006500000065' does not exist.
        I. 2008/07/18 10:40:56. The DSI thread for database 'ADB.rdb' is shutdown.
