2638285 - Error While Releasing a Sales Order: 'Exchange rate US Dollar/Tenge on DD.MM.YYYY missing for currency conversion'

You are trying to release a Sales Order and receive some error messages.

1. Go to the Sales Order work center.
2. Go to the Sales Order view.
3. Search for Sales Order XXX.
4. Click Edit.

See the error message: 'Tax calculation failed; trigger a calculation again.'

5. Click View All.

See the second error message: 'Exchange rate US Dollar/Tenge on DD.MM.YYYY missing for currency conversion.'

The origin of this behavior is regarding the lack of Exchange Rate. This is required to convert the amounts from transaction to reporting currencies in the tax registers when a Sales Order has the Tax Country for one country and the document currency for another.

You have to maintain Exchange rate US Dollar/Tenge.

Another option would be changing the Tax Country for the relevant Sales Order, if the Tax Country cannot be changed, you need to maintain Exchange rate US Dollar/Tenge.
