2639123 - Error message CJ727 when updating a WBS or Project Definition via a BAPI (or CNMASS or Project Definition Overview app)

Symptom

  • Use BAPI_BUS2054_CHANGE_MULTI or BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN to update a WBS or Project Definition
  • Use CNMASS to update a WBS or Project Definition
  • Try to change a project via Project Definition Overview app

and receive information message CJ726 and error message CJ727, for example:

    • CJ726 "No field attributes flagged for field PRPS-POSID_EDIT -> CJCK_PR*_FIELD_ATTR_INIT"
    • CJ727 "Field WBS_ELEMENT_EDIT/WBS Element: Changing the contents of the field is not permitted"
