2639447 - Cannot save a rule that uses a locale search term in RMK 'Rules Editor'


  • After trying to save a rule containing a locale as a search term in 'Rules Editor', the server processes won't close.
  • Only the default locale is available in the rule editor locale drop down.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Command Centre
  2. Select the 'Categories' Menu
  3. Launch 'Rules Editor'
  4. Create or copy a new rule that uses a locale search tearm
  5. Alternatively, simply try to select a locale in the locale drop down


Locales must be enabled in 'Talent Community Setup' and 'Site Locales' to be used in a rule.


  1. Open Command Center.
  2. Select the 'Site' menu.
  3. Launch 'Talent Community Setup'.
  4. Enable any locales that will be used in a rule.
  5. Save any changes and close 'Talent Community Setup'.
  6. Select the 'Site' menu.
  7. Open 'Site Locales'.
  8. Ensure any locales to be used in a rule are enabled.
  9. The rule can now be created and saved without error.
