Symptom

  • Unable to install SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform 4.2 using MySQL as the Central Management Server (CMS) database
  • INS00104 / FWB 00090: MySQL Database Clients newer than version 5.9.0 are not supported
  • Only MySQL Connector/C 6.x and above are available on the MySQL download website
