2640283 - Incorrect number of hours in Time Sheet comparing to Import Export Data or Reports - Employee Time, Advanced Reporting

• We are updating number of hours in the Timesheet through Import and Export data transaction with help of " External Time Record-External - External Time Segment" generic object. System is updating data however the number of hours are incorrect. If we maintain 8.50 (Means 8 hours and 50 minutes) but when we check the time data in the timesheet, it is updating 8.3, instead of 8.50. What we understand that system is converting .50 minute into 100% .50 = .50*60/100    = 30/100   = .3 So .50 = .3   client want that whatever number of hours and minute that should be updated in the timesheet.
• Some records in Advanced Reporting are not showing the same quantityInHours as the Time Sheet portlet

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 2.0

• Time sheet takes decimal values and then converts them to hours and minutes
• Import Export Data and Advanced Reporting use the decimal value and do not convert the quantityInHours value to hours and minutes

This is working as designed. Please use the following examples to understand the behavior:

• 8.5 = 8 hours 30 minutes
• 8.25 = 8 hours 15 minutes
• 8.833 = 8 hours and 50 minutes
