Symptom

The indexserver of a HANA instance fails to start.

You find entries in the indexserver trace file similar to:

... Stack allocation error: cannot allocate <x> bytes

... Cannot allocate stack of <y>B for thread 'PoolThread'

... failed to start poolthread: <z> (Numerical result out of range)

... startPoolThread failed

... cannot start WorkerThread while dispatching
